RUDY "MR. PERSONALITY" REILEY
Rudy Riley is a 4 year old Beagle Cocker Spaniel mix and has been with us since our opening in June of 2007. He was the first guest at Dogs In Paradise and he visits with us here at Club Dogz a few times a week. Rudy was voted Mr. Personality at our Grand Opening event and the name has stuck. You can see why from the above picture. Rudy was the life of our New Year's Eve Party. Rudy likes to chase balls but doesn't like to return them. Rudy loves the lazer light. Mike our morning dog handler just has to say the word lazer and Rudy has his eyes to the floor ready to chase and hopefully catch that little red light. Rudy loves to lay on the small slide which has been deemed his castle. If he is not laying on his castle he is lounging in one of the staff's chairs or on our bright doggie couches. Don't get me wrong Rudy is far from lazy but he does tend to take small restful breaks during the day. Rudy's dad Mike says Rudy gets so excited when he realizes he is coming to Dogs In Paradise. When he comes into the parking lot he is up by the dashboard flogging Mike in the face with his tail. All of the staff loves Rudy and he takes full advantage of that to get his belly rubbed, a warm lap to lay in or just some extra attention. Rudy is a treat hound and can smell them a mile away. He will smell out visitors pockets for them and also do all of his tricks at once to get one. Rudy is great with all of the other doggie guests at Dogs In Paradise and is also one of our interview dogs due to his wonderful temperment.
